Why I teach-

 
There was a time in my life when I needed to treat a voice disorder I developed due to unhealthy technique and other life afflictions. The disorder is one that most people do not overcome. I refused to give up. I treated it clinically, and worked with the best voice therapists and coaches Utah has to offer. I've come out the other side as more successful singer with extensive performing experience in the industry. This experience has put me in a unique position to empathize with other singers and has given me a passion to help prevent them from having to go through the same years of correction by addressing a healthy technique to singing, no matter what the genre.

I love the detailed individuality of each person I meet. I appreciate every student is unique in how they learn, how they perform, their interests, and their instrument itself. I don't focus on technique alone. I am dedicated to teaching my students the invaluable life skill of confidence. Confidence doesn't need to only apply to singing itself, but is a skill that anyone can take with them to any situation.
