Meet Jessica
Jessica gave her first, award winning performance at age six in her original home of Seattle. Ever since, she’s continued to sing and act whenever and wherever an opportunity presents itself. Favorite roles performed include Josephine in HMS Pinafore, Nannetta in Falstaff, Angelina (Plaintiff) in Trial by Jury, Casilda in Gondoliers, Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Foreign Woman in The Consul, and Rapunzel in Into the Woods.
She has performed in Italy, Canada, and renowned Utah stages including Kingsbury Hall for a public in-person appearance of Stephen Sondheim. Other venues include Centerpoint Legacy Theater, Libby Gardner, the Salt Lake Tabernacle, Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theater, and Eccles Theater. Jessica is a member of the Utah Opera Chorus and Utah Symphony Chorus, and performs with Lyrical Opera Theater.
In addition to performing characters in theater and opera, Jessica has performed in many genres in various settings through out her life from large and small events, festivals, recorded albums, concerts, competitions and more. Genres performed are musical theater, belt, mix, legit musical theater, classical, opera, choral, jazz, country, folk, r & b , pop, indie and alternative rock, blue grass, and gospel.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Music with emphasis in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah, is an active member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), has attended a summer opera program in Italy, and possesses extensive professional performing experience in the industry. She has years of experience teaching in various situations from one on one to large groups of people of all ages and skill level, including successful experiences with students with mental and physical disabilities.
